Post-Jam Update 1
Hey everyone!
Thank you all for the huge amount of valuable feedback we got during the GMTK Game Jam! We never expected that so many people would try out our game when we joined the jam, and it was a great experience.
As promised, here is the first small update to the game. We mostly fixed some bugs, simplified the code, improved some levels and added a new "current shift" text to the HUD. The full changelog is down below.
Also, there will be at least one more update after this one, where we want to improve the other levels (mostly Level 9, which still has some design flaws that need to be ironed out) and maybe even add a few new levels and mechanics. Stay tuned for that!
Here's the full changelog:
- Simplified level management and setup (which makes it easier for us to add new levels in the future)
- Changed the logo on the main menu to not be blurry
- Added a "current shift" text to the HUD to reduce confusion
- Fixed a bug where the rewind sound effect would play forever when the player loops while reaching the goal of a level
- Improved levels 3, 7 and 8 (making them a bit less annoying to solve)
